In 2014 he made a €13.5m profit by selling his nine-bedroom mansion in Surrey to the Sultan of Oman’s top aide for €21m.
He is also a global ambassador for Adidas brand and has a lucrative deal with Audi.
Other endorsements include Right Guard, Funny-Frisch crisps, Nivea, and Beats by Dr. Dre.

Aguero penned a new and improved contract at Manchester City early last year worth €12.5m before bonuses.
His endorsements list worth an additional €7m per year, with clients including Puma, Pepsi, Gillette, Hugo Boss, and PlayStation.

Neymar Jr earned a total €37m from being the face of Brazil when they hosted the World Cup in 2014.
He is also no stranger to sponsorships and according to Goal he has 12 of them ranging from Volkwagen and Nike to Red Bull and Guarana. He also has a mobile application called Palpiteros.
His father, walked away with €40m payout when the youngster joined Barcelona in 2013 which has since been subject to tax fraud investigation.
2. Lionel Messi – €200m
The Argentine has endorsement deals with major companies such as Addidas, EA Sports and Samsung among others.
“Messi has the largest pre-tax contract of any player in the world, and has benefited from regular renewals on improved terms under a succession of Barcelona presidents,” reports Goal.com.
He was recently rated the best dribbler in Europe, surpassing Ronaldo and Chelsea’s Eden Hazard.

The Real Madrid superstar enjoys sponsorship deals from the likes of Nike, Samsung, Emirates and others, totalling to eleven.
According to Goal.com, the renewal of his contract with Real Madrid saw him earn €18.2m a year.
Ronaldo has a mobile application, a nightclub and owns properties worth well over €30m.
